WINTERHEAT 2021 is a month long amateur radio simplex event.
The goal and purpose is for amateur radio operators to make as many contacts as possible over a month long period of time using only designated simplex frequencies..
Currently 562 amatuer radio operators have signed up to participate in WINTERHEAT. |

If you fail to confirm your submission, your account/profile will not be activated and you will not be able to log-in to the system. |

The sliding 24 hour window is no longer is effect. You can now make a contact based on the per-day vs time elapsed since last contact. |

We have added a feature for those participating in the event to downloadand print an event certificate which includes the number of contacts made and the total points accumulated.

- This is the second year for this event. In 2020 the event participants made 6,500 contacts with fellow hams.
- The event is open to all licensed amateur radio operators regardless of geographical location.
- Contacts made across state lines will be acceptable this year.
- This year the event will begin at 00:01 on January 1, 2021 (CST) and conclude at 23:59 (CST) on January 31, 2021.
- All contacts shall be via voice but can be either analog or digital. For more information please see the event operating guidelines page.
